I'm not attention seeking, I genuinely need some advice because I don't know what to do or how to handle this situation, and I can't really ask anyone I know.... so anyone willing to boar themselves, read on...
I work with this guy, and his cousin came into work the other day and we exchanged a few glances, she exactly my type and I sure the way she looked at me she liked how I looked [on first impressions anyway]. Now, i've found her facebook through my co-workers facebook, but I obviously can't just add her as a friend because it'd look strange to my co-worker and I don't feel like I could just tell my co-worker i'd like to get to know his cousin more because it's his cousin... [does that make sense?]... She came in the other day again and we briefly spoke in general and I've dropped hints to my co-worker but he just aint getting it. I have no idea what to do, I literally can't get this girl out of my head, which is strange because I've only spoken to her briefly, but when our eyes glanced at each other it felt right. This probably sounds so immature, but hey, I don't care, I just need some ideas... |

Just start a conversation with her next time she goes to your work and ask her for her number/facebook

Just add her on FB. Go for it!!!!! What's the worst that can happen? If you've spoken to her you could even say to your workmate she's mentioned she's on there or something
It's that or maybe forever regret not contacting her........ |

Now this is so true, but I'm not sure if SHE might find it weird, or might not even know who I am... (I doubt she knows my name)

Don't you just on facebook send a friend request or something, I am not on facebook but sending a friend request could prompt her to ask you who you are and at that point you are only adding friends to your facebook so she'd have no need to be upset at that. Once you said who you were and where you knew her from, no telling where it could lead from there and even so you still would have then another friend on your facebook. Normally,I never give advice but the old saying is' he who hesitates is lost',if it means that much to you, go for it. Really, good luck with it all. if it was me, i'd wait till next time I talked to her, to add her on fb.
saying that though, one of my friends adds people on fb almost as soon as she knows them, and I don't see any reasons why a person wouldn't like it |

Don't be a creep. Ignore her and spend you life thinking what if. Social conditioning tells us to do this so STICK to it, bow down to social etiquette.

Its nothing to do with your co-worker IMO.
But personally I would wait til the next time i saw the girl, face to face, and just talk. maybe if you want her on FB then just drop it into the conversation...rather than randomly adding her :/ |

You're hesitating.......
![]() It's upto you. As I say I dunno how FB works and who can see what and what-have-you but I personally can't see why there'd be a problem. If he say's anything just shrug it off. You're doing nothing wrong. You like someone. So what? Why on earth should there be a problem? |

And ah, I get it now. In that case I would just add her and if she finds it weird or anything just say she flashed up on the side of your screen saying she had 1 mutual friend or something, and that you recognised her ![]() |
