Excellent. Thanks for that, Alex.

It's supposed to be a really well made, and revealing documentary about him and his family.

Could there be anything really scandalous in it? surely if there was anything shocking in it, the film makers would have exposed it during the elections, you'd hope so at least.

Sounds interesting though. I never hated Mitt during the election. I'd never vote republican, but he didn't get my back up the way most republicans do. He was certainly not as bad as the other republicans who were running in the primaries (bachman, santorum, gingrich)

I just realized it's a 7 gig file. you might want to wait a while til more reasonable sized files come out, there'll probably be some decent ones by the end of the day.

It's supposed to be revealing in the opposite way from the rich guy persona, of a humble guy who just absolutely loves his family and 3 million grandchildren.

Not anything scandalous in it, but he was completely aware of his flaws as a candidate.

There was absolutely nothing likeable about him in the election, but republicanism isn't a likeable ideology at the moment anyway. It's all about Stopping abortion, but getting more guns into the world, religious dogma, tax breaks for the rich, and taking away from the poor, so it's automatically really difficult to make those positions endearing to the majority of the country.

hmm, sounds interesting. I always thought the republicans just kinda threw him under the bus, used him as a place holder to get rid of him, just like the Dems did to Kerry in 2004.

I don't think the republicans ever really expected to win that election, and they figured might as well let 'ole Mitt have his crack at it. but they never really threw their full weight behind him.

Incumbents are almost impossible to beat. Thank gawd for term limits.

Looks like Christie is *****ed for 2016 already now, which means that the dems will automatically win the WH again. I hope Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders runs against Hilary in the primary. I'd love to see a real progressive America in the world.

What exactly does progressive mean to you? If by progressive you mean the Guardian's dream of a socialist, weak, drain the rich to pacify the poor, isolationist America, that's not going to happen, and if it did nothing could be worse for the world.

That's not going to happen, luckily the system of America is brilliantly designed to make sure that you cannot have major changes quickly. there are too many moving parts in the system to change them all in one direction at the same time.

I think Hillary 2016 would be great, as she's been part of the liberal changes in America since the 90's, and been right at the center of them the whole way through, in the white house under her husband, then in congress, then under Obama as SoS. I think she is perfectly positioned to be very successful in moving the country towards democratic goals. I think Obama has set up a stage that she can flourish on.

I am not particularly impressed by Obama's work, but i think his contribution will be felt if Hillary does step up and uses the platform he's created to really get some great stuff done.

If a republican wins in 2016, the past 8 years will have been a complete wash, and the Democrats will have WASTED the perfect opportunity they had in 2008 to really do something after bush, it will have been a wash if Hillary doesn't win in 2016. Obama was not the right candidate in 2008, he's been almost useless so far, his only worth is as a place holder for the democrats so far.

He doesn't have the ideas, he doesn't have the leadership, and he doesn't have the balls that Hillary has, and the only reason he won the democrat nomination in 2008 is because he's a man, and Hillary isn't.
