Team Bondi, the creator of LA Noire, has formally gone bust with debts of over a million Australian dollars, most of them owed to the staff who worked on the game.
The news was reported by Edge, based on documents filed with the Australian Securities And Investments Commission.
The total amount owed is AU$1,425,156.78 (£900,051), of which $1,074,283.28 (£678,459) was supposed to go to 33 staff who worked on the game. Studio head Brendon MacNamara, who was publically accused of overworking staff during the game's development, is owed $102,495.16. General manager Vicky Lord, whose internal emails were leaked as proof of this, is due $99,155.21 and David Heironymus, the gameplay lead who disputed the claims is owed $43,652.

More surprisingly, the company owed $145,795.83 to Depth Analysis - the company (also owned by McNamara) which developed the MotionScan facial animation technology that was a huge part of LA Noire's success.
The studio was formally put into administration in August, and the adminstrator agreed to wind up the company last week. All remaining assets will be sold off - not including the LA Noire IP, which is owned by Rockstar.
