Default Series Length

in my opinion Channel 5 have got it right by the series length for BB12 this year 9/10 weeks is enough to maintain my interest and it dosent feel dragged on

Do you agree?

Yeah I like a shorter series, anything over 10 weeks just drags on

Agreed, I couldn't imagine this series with another 5 weeks left.

Also when the series is shorter they don't start throwing in about 10 new housemates half way

Being shorter does nothing to get rid of that end of series feeling it feels like its winding down now theres less than 3 weeks to go and they havent even had chance to try any big twists yet its all too rushed and a bit crap.

I'd like 10-12 weeks maximum...

9 weeks has been fine this series, I definitely couldn't see this series going on for another month.

I would like it to be 10/11 weeks.

Bit off topic what date is the final, I can't find anything on the forum telling me this.

Voted 11-12 weeks, I like 13-14 week ones as well though. I prefer the series to be longer because it makes it feel more of a big event and they have enough time to get everything in, whereas the shorter series can be over in a flash and you can end up feeling like "Is that all?"

I think the length is perfect this year.

Though saying that, maybe I'm/we're only feeling that way because of the three weeks of CBB just before. Which was a horrible decision by Channel 5 tbh.

I completely agree. Depending on the housemates I wouldn't mind 11-12 weeks but the length of this series is fine enough.

Who the heck would want it for 16 weeks?!?!

9-10 weeks is too short. Feels rushed. It's good for this series just because housemates are not diverse and interesting enough (with few exceptions). 13-14 weeks feels just about right - there's enough time for new housemates and some twists. Loved BB7 and BB9 and they both were 13-14 weeks if i remember correctly.
