Santa Fe, New Mexico (The Weekly Vice) - Laura Chavez, a 60-year-old New Mexico woman was jailed Tuesday after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend repeatedly after accusing him of cheating at Monopoly.

According to Santa Fe Police, Chavez and her 48-year-old boyfriend were playing a game of Monopoly late Tuesday when Chavez suspected that her boyfriend was cheating at the game.

Also playing the game was the couple's 10-year-old grandson.

After the grandson went to sleep, Chavez grabbed a bottle and hit her boyfriend over the head with it. She then picked up a kitchen knife and began repeatedly stabbing the man.

Investigators arrived on scene to find the victim bleeding heavily from his head, neck and right wrist area. Chavez was reportedly found sitting under the porch spattered with the victim's blood.

When police asked if the blood belonged to her boyfriend, she replied "yes, I ****ed him up," according to the arrest affidavit.

The victim was rushed to a local hospital where he is currently listed in stable condition.

Chavez, who has convicted in 2009 for felony drug possession, was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, battery on a police officer, assault on a police officer and resisting arrest.

She should go directly to jail, don't pass go and don't collect £200.
