Default Big Brother needs to make evictions less predictable.

Tonight was great, it was wide open between Harry, Faye and Jay and even though I had an inkling Harry would be evicted I was no way 100% positive.

I think they should open Vote to Evict lines and Vote to Save lines when 3+ HMs are up. It will be harder to tell the outcome and surely Ch5 will make more money from it?

Good idea?

Yeah, agreed. Two lines for each housemate seems cool in theory but for the casual viewer it's just too much to process. Dedicated forum-goers like us would get it, but most wouldn't. One of the last few things that has remained (mostly) intact for BB has been the format - changing the voting system that drastically would put people off.

The thing that makes evictions so boring is telling the viewers and the housemates who got the most most votes to save its the dumbest idea since the tibb big brother 11 forum skin.

Telling the housemates and us who got the most votes to save every week is just idiotic.

I agree 100%
Why are they telling them who is the most popular 2 weeks before the end??
They should of just put the top 2 through in no particular order.

I dont follow at all how that could have seemed like a good idea to anyone!!
C5 and endemol made so many good noises when they got big brother back on our screens and have clutched defeat from the jaws of victory.
I can only imagine the people in control are kids desperate to try anything crazy and zany to make a difference when the real key to make it a success was right under their noses and they missed it

Vote to Save has worked so much better then Vote to Evict; Aaron would have gone by now if there was.

1. Anton survived longer (vote to evict he would have gone)
2. Aden went, he would have been safe in vote to evict.
3. Aaron would not have srivived 4 evictions in a vote to evict - FACT!
4. Heaven had a better chance of staying in SAVE vote. 0.5% as opposed to 78% to evict.

However VOTE TO SAVE does not work on 1 v1 evictions;
We lost;

Maisy
Rebekah

to vote to saves where they acted like EVICT votes.

I say why dont we have;

1. Instead of 2 there are top 3 housemates nominated each week. This eliminates strong charcters going in a head to head in the early weeks. Losing Rebekah (even if you hated her) was bad so early on.

2. Vote to save remains

3. Week 1 has no eviction - so we can get to know them better, becuase for all we know Tashie could have been the greatest housemate ever.

I agree with those ideas, they would be good imo. Especially 1 and 3.

Maybe we could have some sort of 'probation' or 'parole' scheme where the first time they get evicted, they survive the following week but only if they are not up for nomination again the following week? I'd Imagine some of the hated housemates having to backtrack and suck up to the people who nominated them. I hate losing characters from the house because it always seems so empty afterwards.

Either that, or have vote to 'remove chance of winning' so they can stay in the house but can no longer win the show.. or maybe have all the housemates enter the house again for the last two weeks or so, but only the ones who survived have a chance of winning.

Vote to save has been slightly less predictable but I feel it is just another nail in the coffin which takes it even further away from a reality show 24/7 where you can 'oot' the twonks. What 'twist' next? X factor invented this vote to save crapola.............c5 took it one step further - manipulate the eviction to get even more votes, then use FB credits.

It is getting less and less popular that's for certain..maybe it should just go back to the original format I guess

I like the vote to save best, but i wish they didnt read out the order of who got the most votes.

I think doing it this way gives to much information from the outside world and gives the hms ideas on who to target in the nominations.

I have never liked vote to save and said so before BB even went to C5. They should go back to vote to evict for the next series.

I prefer vote to evict, but I wouldn't want to change that this series as it would just cause confusion, so I voted for the save vote.

I would like to see next year go back to vote to evict.

They need to keep the current voting process in this show - especially when they announce who received the most votes to save in highest order.

It's a great way of playing mind games with the housemates. Bearing in mind, they (and we) don't know what the variance really is: it could be a tiny difference of 0.5% between them all ....... but it's the EFFECT is had, that works as well as it does.

Especially where Aaron is concerned, given that 4 times now, he's been up and 4 times now, he's come tops.

That's got to play heavily on minds..... and it's a great idea.

Vote to evict was the basis of that show..........an unpopularity contest where the public could get rid of horrors. I'm sorry joey that I disagree strongly and go with the others who say 'back to basics'. I believe the c5/Endthemall execs had a passing notion that 'social media' was the BIG thing, hence no live feed, concentrate to craploa like FB/Twatter. Hence the devastating viewing figures

I agree. And why bother to tell us the order if they are not going to ever reveal the percentages, seems rather pointless.

If yer gonna have Vote to Save, you might as well have the HMs nominating to save in DR each week...............it's only fair.

It's totally out of context to the original BB
