Default The present - gate vids

Aaron once again displays his manipulative and quite atrocious behaviour. Instead of taking responsibility for his own actions, he makes others feel guilty to make himself feel better. Even when the person (Jay) explains their actions reasonably and calmly, Aaron insists that his version is the right one and refuses to even consider any point of view but his own. He could have said, at the very least, ‘well it looked that way to me, but maybe I was wrong and thanks for explaining’. Instead, he continues with the cold, holier than thou treatment.

He has successfully shifted the guilt on to Jay (who is so straight forward he falls for it) who then apologizes to AARON - not for buying the presents - BUT FOR MAKING AARON FEEL BAD. Once again, Aaron has made a situation ALL ABOUT HIM. He can’t even accept the apology gracefully. He reluctantly murmurs ‘okay’ and doesn’t give anything back in the way of warmth. It wouldn’t even occur to him that HE had made Jay feel bad, and Alex, Tom and Louise into the bargain. All that matters is how bad HE feels.
I'm beginning to pity him. He has problems.

I'm in full agreement with you..but mind now, you're treading on a minefield no-one is supposed to go against

'the one that will not be chosen'
Aaron's fans just won't have it'...they can't accept that he's just not perfect..

I had a feeling what he was like the way he treated some of the hms when they first walked into the house. People are a bag of nerves as it is when meeting strangers. But all he was interested in was starting his gameplan by acting nasty and cold towards some hms. And then he wonders why there was an apmosphere around him.

Its because people noticed his cold fish attitude on the first meet. First impressions are what matters, if it doesn't go well it is hard to pull back no matter how you try people are always going to be a bit wary of you if you were unfriendly with them before you got to know them.

And he deserves to be isolated now because he just hasn't changed.

he's not really BEING isolated, he's isolating himself from the group.

i think he has lost a few fans over this, apart from the die-hard ones on here (hope that isn't viewed as offending fm )

All the videos say to me is that its Jay and Louise who are intent on carrying it on

Jay and Aaron spoke calmly about it, and they Jay went in to bitch about the whole situation again, then got all confrontational once he had backup.

They keep bringing it up, not Aaron.

Aaron seems to revel in isolatonism. You can't deny that he carries the Holier than Thou banner as justification for shunning the group (and, incidentally, irritating the voters)

He only doesnt speak to people who piss him off. He hasnt isolated himself since Alex and Toms birthday, quite the opposite. Hes been more than friendly with Alex and Tom...the ones he doesnt have a problem with(yet oddly enough, some are still slating him for having fun with Tom/Alex )

I'm pretty sure in the outside world, if he was annoyed with someone and just didnt call or visit them for a few days until he chilled...no-one would think anything of it. Thats quite normal...I do it Though I do like a good argument too

I just think hes unable to adapt his outside coping strategies while in there...like the majority have managed to do.

Well yeah, for good reason though

Its them that keep bringing the damn thing up, not him. He has yet to say anything to Tom or Alex about it. He only mentioned it to jay, who told Louise, and now they cant shut up about it and keep dragging everyone else into the argument, then moaning about the atmosphere that they caused

The thing is he doesn't chill out to deal with it better when he's not as upset. Nothing has really changed when the strop is over. He never apologizes. He never admits wrongdoings. He's not willing to accept his view on things is just as subjective as anyone else's. And it keeps happening again and again. He's the common denominator here, and anyone with some degree of self awareness and life experience knows that's when it's time to take a step back and perhaps think about why the same scenario repeats itself over and over.

Oh blah, blah, blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah some more!!!!!
So tired of these super-repetative posts.

You really do seem like you're obsessed with Aaron.
How will you feel when he wins ?

My opinion: Aaron has problems. It's all about him. He manipulates every situation so that he is never to blame for anything. For example, it was his idea originally to nominate the two people to their left but when he stuffed up he then turned the situation by saying he was standing by his principles and would nominate the way he saw fit. Why couldn't he just come clean and apologise for messing it all up. You know I don't think he has any feelings for Faye. He is a cold fish. Jay is no saint and is a rough diamond, but he is honest and what you see is what you get.

Why bother to waste time reading AND then posting to these repetitive threads?
