Anyone else volunteered for the Olympics? I have my first training day next Monday, followed by four shifts at a test event - Gymnastics at Greenwich Arena, and then an orientation day at Wembley on 4th Feb. Get my uniform in April (which is pretty grim to be honest!).



I mean, beige trousers?!

My role is as print distribution team member, who runs around delivering the results to the media etc, as well escorting big wigs on tours around the stadium. I'll get to meet all the athletes. Am getting excited now. Also waiting to hear whether I've been accepted as a volunteer for the Paralympics as well!

Only downside is that I'll have to record CBB as most of my shifts are in the evening

Lol, no The picture is from the Gamesmaker website. No doubt I'll look just as horrific though when I'm wearing it.
