Bachelor's Question Time and Challenge Thread

Welcome to the first instalment of Bachelor's Question Time, which hasn't gone to plan due to the fact that the original Bachelor got banned - ooops - but we do have a wonderful replacement who I shall introduce without further ado.

The One and Only.....Ukturtle

We have another casualty, as previously announced MMI was also banned !! so Aliona Pierzina is out of the competition. Challenge 1 was to create the best possible first impression on the Bachelor and the forum, the ladies who scored least in this have all answered a few questions I put to them on behalf of the Bachelor who was away partying wildly at the time Their answers are below for the Bachelor to peruse at his leisure and then decide who is to fall at the first hurdle. Lia Tortellini - 1 If you were a soap female character who would it be and why? Choose someone to reflect your personality.
Tina McIntyre from Coronation Street, because she is sweet and lovely and lacks a bit in confidence like myself.

2 If you were on the menu, what type of dish would you be?
A low fat 5 star vegetarian dish, most likely containing asparagus

3 If you and the Bachelor were stranded on a desert island what three things would you want with you and how would you cope?
A hat, can't live without them
A large blanket to keep me and the Bachelor nice and warm
Several bottles of Dr Pepper so that we wouldn't get thirsty

I would cope pretty well as long as the Bachelor was there and collecting food for us from the island


Suzy Layton - 1 If you were a soap female character who would it be and why? Choose someone to reflect your personality.
Laurel from Emmerdale (She's a down to earth girl ain't she? I bet she's been a minx for that Ashley every now and again as well)

2 If you were on the menu, what type of dish would you be?
Tuna Pasta (Because then you'd know what you'd be getting if you chose one of the other girls in the competition)

3 If you and the Bachelor were stranded on a desert island what three things would you want with you and how would you cope?
Reading Material (Not any of that Hello/OK ****e), Lilo (So we can have some fun in the sea), Frisbee (So I can throw it at him if he get's out of line).


Imogen Saberhagen - 1) If you were a soap female character who would it be and why? Choose someone to reflect your personality.
I guess I'd like to be a character that's nice 90% of the time but will stand her ground when necessary and defend anyone she cares about fiercely. I suppose someone like Jane Beale? Yeah.

2) If you were on the menu, what type of dish would you be? Something nice and spicy but not too filling. A quesadilla.

3) If you and the Bachelor were stranded on a desert island what three things would you want with you and how would you cope? I wouldn't need to do much to cope. I'd use certain er, gifts of mine to get us out of there ASAP. If my um gifts were rendered unusable however, then the three things I would select would be a tent for shelter, a satellite phone to call for help and some kind of knife to cut and prepare food with. I'd probably enlist some kind of survival guru like Bear Grylls to help us out.
To cope, I'd try to keep busy by looking for food. Oh yeah and keeping the Bachelor entertained would be at the top of my list of duties.

Rotting, gone off food.

3 If you and the Bachelor were stranded on a desert island what three things would you want with you and how would you cope?
A gun to kill him
a boat to get off the island
and the complete boxset of american dad to watch on the boat ride home

Zara Zucchini - 1 If you were a soap female character, who would it be and why? Choose someone who reflects your personality.
I don't think I could pick someone to reflect my personality, but I expect I'd be a bit of a caricatured version of myself. Caring, up for fun but maybe a little bit different to what people think? I guess I'm a good hearted person that people wouldn't give a chance. Maybe Heather from Eastenders, minus the fat and ugly!

2 If you were on the menu, what kind of dish would you be?
I'd be a dish with an unusual taste, something new, something interesting, something you've never tasted before. The kind you're intrigued by, you want to keep tasting to get more of the flavour.

Zara - Q3

3 If you and the Bachelor were stranded on a desert island, what 3 things would you want with you and how would you cope?
A good book perhaps, a shower that wouldn't require electricity or plumbing in, I can't deal with bad hygiene, and my last item I have no preference for. It would be a perfect bonding opportunity, knowing it was just the Bachelor and I. I'm good at conversation so I know I'd have lots of interesting things to say to prevent any awkwardness.

The Bachelor will soon be revealing which lady is to leave the competition, after posting a black rose on her ! wall. Then I will reveal the next challenge. I know its late, but the Bachelor had a premier to attend.

So, we lose the lovely Zara tonight, she is on the plane home as we speak, having stolen a crate of champers from the Bachelors cellar to take with her as a memento and get pissed with her gal pals.

CHALLENGE 2 - The Bachelor has a hectic social life and needs his lady to look the part. Each contestant must choose one of the following occasions and choose top to toe outfits plus accessories for themselves and the Bachelor fitting the occasion. Pm your selections to me by 5pm on Thursday. This will also be posted in the main thread in the morning to ensure nobody misses it. Get creative.

1 A day at the races
2 A red carpet film premiere
3 Fancy dress party
4 An awards Ceremony, where the Bachelor is to be honoured

Never mind our loss, as you would have probably gone on to be a fantastic contestant. Your tardiness lost you your place though. Though if you had chosen a name like Gashflap I have my suspicions as to who that is you would probably still be in the Bachelors affections. Never mind, a lesson learnt for the next Bachelor game
