The Bank Job, Channel 4’s latest interactive gameshow will return for a second extended series in February.
The game show, presented by George Lamb, is broadcast live from the vault of a London bank and produced by Endemol’s Remarkable, the indie behind The Million Pound Drop Live.
The second series will be a ten-part run, building on the first series that comprises six editions stripped across a week. It has not been decided whether the second series will also be stripped.
It was the first game show to cast contestants through an online game, which was made available before the programme was broadcast.
So far, the online game has been played 4.6m times by over 200,000 people. The recruitment process for the game has been ramped up for the next series with wannabe contestants having to win three games in the head to head tournament.

In the show contestants are tested on their general knowledge under time pressure before having to choose from a number of vaults.
C4 head of entertainment Justin Gorman and entertainment commissioner Madeleine Knight ordered the recommission.
Remarkable Television managing director David Flynn said: “The online game is simple and hugely addictive. But nothing can compare to the intense pressure of playing the game for real money, live on Channel 4. In The Bank Job, everything can change right up to the very last second in the vault.”
Flynn is executive producer with Tom Blakeson. Series producer is James Fox.
The first series averaged a consolidated audience of 1.21m (5.26%) across the run. Endemol will be taking the format to the MipTV maret in Cannes this April.
