You don't have to verify new accounts at the moment.

It sounds like a problem with cookies in the browser. Try clicking Logout (top-right of screen) and then login again.

If that doesn't work, and you are using Internet Explorer, try going to Tools menu / Internet Options then click the Privacy tab, and check the slider is set no-higher than Medium. Click the Advanced button and check 'Override automatic cookie handling' is not selected.

If it doesn't work after that you might want to try deleting the cookies for the forum...

Go to Tools menu / Internet Options then Delete Cookies. You will , however, be logged out any other sites you might be logged into if you do that.

If you don't want to be logged out of other sites do this...

Go to Tools menu / Internet Options then Settings. Then click on the View Files button.

The Temporary Internet Files window should appear. Go to the View menu here, and then 'Arrange Icons by' 'Internet Address'.

At the very top, or very bottom , of the list of files in the window there will be a lot of files called 'Cookie:something'.

Look under the 'Internet Address' column for any files that say 'Cookie:something@thisisbigbrother/forum' and 'Cookie:something@thisisbigbrother/'

Also look for 'Cookie:something@www.thisisbigbrother/forum' and 'Cookie:something@www.thisisbigbrother/'

Delete all files like this, refresh the forum page and then try logging in again.

Hope this works!
