Big Brother Radio

For the first task this series, housemates will have to run a Radio Station.

You will achieve this by posting songs non stop until the task ends tomorrow at 3pm.

Songs must be posted in preferably the form of YouTube videos, however, only if this is absolutely not possible (such as if you are on a phone and can't post YouTube videos) will you be able to post alternatively (i.e. the name of the song(s) with their duration included)

The time to post another song will expire a minute after the duration of the previous song is up. So for example:

The Saturdays - Higher (3:36) [Posted at 5:47PM]

Time another song must be posted by: 5:52PM

Song durations will be rounded up to the next minute to make things easier, so if a song is 3:01 long, the next song will need to be posted within 4 minutes. If a song is 3:58 long, it can round up to 4 minutes, which means the next song will need to be posted within 5 minutes.

And to make things easier so you aren't all working like slaves posting non-stop songs every 3 minutes, you are allowed to post multiple songs in one post, and the duration of all songs in your post will be added together to make the expiry time. For example:

Pixie Lott - Boys & Girls (3:02)

David Guetta - Titanium (4:05)

Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger (3:12)

The Wombats - Anti-D (4:41)

You must all discuss how you are going to tackle this, e.g. by planning schedules based around who will be online when, planning who will post what etc.

And remember, Big Brother wants an actual Radio Station, not posting songs mindlessly without any hosting skills from anyone. Any lack of hosting will be deducted from the contribution points.

Contribution points will be handed out as 15 points for each individual song posted, with 10 - 5 points for multiple songs bundled into one post. The target for this task is 5,000 points. If housemates fall below that, or they miss a time to post another song before the expiry, housemates will FAIL this task and no points will be handed out.

Any fake songs posted in text-only-form will automatically count as a fail and no points will be handed out (e.g. "French Frogs - Toads In Miami (57:32)", a made up song intended to increase the expiry duration). All YouTube videos that are songs are allowed.

Remember, you all need to work as hard as you can to reach the pot total target at the end, which for this series is 75,000 points.

The task will officially begin at 7:30PM, you all have until then to discuss how you are going to approach this. Good luck!

To make it easier so there's a bit of time after the last song posted finishes, housemates are allowed 1 minute on top of it (as if I've added to the OP) - meaning if a 3:45 song is posted, I'll allow up to 5 minutes before the next song can be posted.

Nope, housemates can post as many songs as they like in one post.

I recommend you all come up with a schedule, like for example 8pm - 9pm "fruit_cake's Happy Hour", 10pm - 12am "Salman's Feel Good Anthems", 3am - 4am "Roy Mars III at 3", or some of you could joint host a show, etc. There are an unlimited number of possibilities for this task.

1x Post containing 10+ songs = 5 points
1x Post containing 2 - 10 songs = 10 points
1x Post containing 1 song = 15 points
