Default should the heath ponds be free

should the heath ponds always be free

welcome to Hampstead heath,
ponds,grass and smells are free,
hold on a sec, flood defences are needed,
what we need is a money tree.
swimming areas and changing rooms need up keep,
that's what the COL is saying is not cost effective,
i am ashamed to live is such a money grabbing society,
and for these plans i am very objective.
so a paying turn-style will fix,
its to cover the cost to refill the pond,
hold on a sec, God pays,
when he waves his weather wand.
in the summer its packed,
in reports 2000 people a day can swim,
the COL statistics show there are 180,000 visits per year,
the reckon 25,000 pay, the others fare dodge trim.
the COL want to equal,
high lighting the running track and football pitches,
i have never paid to play football,
and i run round the heath and always end with free stitches.
a man called George was a user,
most mornings with his weights to the heath he would stride,
i am not 100% sure,
i wonder with this Heath Crackdown, would he have a divide.
