Default budget - will it effect you - does anyone care ?

views on the budget

first a bit of good news,
its going to multiply like "march's" frogs-borne,
because the poor people earning £150k,
are going to share love with George Osbourne.
at the other end,
George is still showing generosity,
be happy for those on £9k a year,
£200 can add to there own funeral cost with no curiosity.
now a blow,
will George for this get H-M-P detention,
no because they are the weakest in society,
4.4 million old will next year get less of a pension.
a bit of buttery,
George said work it is rewarding,
if he could work a year for £9k,
then i would U-turn and him i would be applauding.
BBC Nick Robertson said its a gamble,
he said these changes will shape politics,
child benefit cut, raise 7% stamp duty, fuel duty rise,
but i do welcome the rise for the tobacco and alcoholics.
on delivering he was patronising,
saying working family's this helps as he defended,
he said new measures to tax the rich,
are 5 times higher but i am sure its fresh air blended.
some people miss out,
the deadline is for the 5 April financially,
some are so close to this,
its going to crack them up emotionally.
i am not going to go on,
we are all being shoved like a fan-E,
even TUC Brendon Baber said it will come back to haunt them,
its been dubbed tax Granny.
i don't think its good George,
you conservatives are giving this nation a stitch,
you are only out for the ones like yourself,
the very comfortable rich.

(hi everyone. this is my view on the budget thing - i really can not see anything good at all and i always see the less well off suffering. this is why i refuse to vote. please don't tell me there is anyone that thinks this is a good budget? )

Personally, I don't think it is a budget that is going to do much to help our economy or improve the lives of the people in the UK.
However what amazes me is that anyone expects current budgets to, the Conservatives took over a horrendous financial mess,we were told, hard times and difficult restructuring of finances had to happen. I cannot understand how people think we should be getting giveaway budgets at present.

I do though feel, this coalition has already lost its way and did even at least 9 months ago. You cannot be fudging this and that, re-writing this and that and always looking over your shoulder at someone you need to rely on to govern effectively.
The Lib Dems are playing at being in Govt, they love the ministerial positions they have and like sitting on the Govt side of the house. Other than that they have nothing now credible to offer other than their 57 votes.

That is stifling successful Govt. and we are likely to muddle through to 2015 with this farce of a governing coalition who will fail to clear the deficit by then, likely still have higher unemployment then than when they came in and the NHS will be heading down the road it was on from the late 80s to early 90s when it was in its run down state completely.

This budget, has no real punch to it,nothing that will stimulate confidence, growth or stronger economic recovery.
This coalition was formed to govern in the national interest, it is only in fact governing in its own interests and it is the UK that will be the worse off for that incompetence.
The Conservatives have many good ideas but they cannot get them implemented, sadly David Cameron is a poor leader of them and also a poor PM, who I feel will go down as a one term premier.
The Lib Dems are being led by Clegg into a political abyss,(deservedly so too),meanwhile we the public have to have budgets like this which really offer little as to making the UK strong financially again.

It will make little or no difference this budget, people will be right to ask in the next year or so, when all forecasts are being revised downwards again, just what is this Govt playing at.
The problem though is this coalition Govt, the Lib Dem part of it that is,I actually can almost believe that the Lib Dems are cleverly working to destroy the Conservative's chances of doing well at the next election 'from in Govt' rather than working with them 'as a Govt'.

You said it in one Joey, they have a really hard job to try and right the mess left by the previous government, what are they supposed to do? there HAVE to be cuts, not sure Lib Dems will destroy the Conservative party, but who knows?

Actually the rich/poor divide got worse under the 13 years of Labour Govt, they did throw some help peoples way in the form of tax credits and certainly for the elderly, pension credit and the increased winter fuel allowances, plus of course bringing in the minimum wage too, all good things but they did little to address the rich/poor divide in the UK as a whole.

There will never in my view be an equal society in this Country but a lot more could be done to bridge the gap.
I would have simply done a flick of the switch policy for a while to reduce spending and bring in revenue, rather than embark on expensive reforms which cost loads to do and set up.

I would have across the board on all benefits for instance, cut the lot by 2% to 3%,that way everyone on them would have had to tighten up a bit but would have had the certainty of knowledge of what they had still coming in,I would of course have still rooted out people claiming benefits who shouldn't be but with a more compassionate approach.
I would have then increased for a 4 year period income tax by about 2% as well.
At the flick of a switch with no costs involved that would have started to reduce the benefits bill and bring in more to the treasury.
Also no moans at everyone not being in this together as all would be making some sacrifice.

I also agreed with the VAT increase, that again at the flick of a switch with no extra cost to the treasury brings in more there too.

This budget is still pussyfooting around with problems rather than solving most of them, the reforms should have been left for the future not embarked on now which is why the Chancellor has all his predictions wrong and is needing to correct them on a 6 monthly basis almost.

The "Granny-Basher" has flung a few coppers at the poor and needy while continuing to line the pockets of Cameron's Cronies - there will be riot and insurrection on the streets again .....

Me too kizzy, as a student I was with my fellow students near stalked by Lib Dem activists and candidates at the last election promising, yes, promising all sorts.
I won't even listen to them now, to me they got my vote by deceit and blatant lies and I will never trust them for decades at least to come now.

I am just waiting for the time I get my chance to have my vote back again and use it to make sure I keep any Lib Dem out wherever and whenever I can.

Thats what i cannot believe their lies have created a whole army worth of voters who loathe and despise them...They are banking on young people not bothering to vote again...I hope they are proved wrong

Oh ho, this young person will be voting again and I will do all I can to help any candidate beat a Lib Dem too.

I can though see Clegg running off to Europe for a nice lucrative position either just before the election or very soon after when he loses his seat.

Vince Cable,I doubt will even face his electorate again, likely announcing he is standing down at the next election but for the rest, well I predict they will be fortunate to be in double figures as to seats won in 2015.
