TIBB's RED DEVIL!!!
|
A man who was stabbed in the back by his partner proposed to her in court before she was sentenced to three years in jail.
Gregory Todd, 48, required emergency surgery after Tiffany Baillie, 32, stabbed him with a kitchen knife while he was sleeping. ![]() At Hull Crown Court, Todd brought in a gold and diamond engagement ring to convince the judge to give Baillie a lighter sentence, reports The Mirror. He also sent a letter, telling the court he forgave her. It read: "She made a huge mistake she will regret for the rest of her life. Please allow me to present her with the ring and leave this courtroom today to continue with our lives. I promise I will not let you down." Judge Mettyear gave Baillie a three-year sentence instead of between nine to 16 years, on the grounds that her victim had forgiven her. Todd was not allowed to give Baillee the ring after her conviction, but a barrister took it for her to try on before it was reported back that it fitted. Todd said outside the court: "I think [the judge] was very fair. I'm not completely happy with the result but I think he was as lenient as he could be."

What is it with the pricks today? only The Sun have been on form today with the fact that they are sane and took the correct approach.

Odd...but, whatever floats your boat. Have to say...the crime gives a whole new meaning to 'being stabbed in the back' though
