Default arguing

right, so i was just about to crucify my flatmate verbally by telling him about himself. about how he will never give in in an argument, about how he always results to "i don't have to explain myself" when i get him backed up into a corner in an argument and so on.
Anyway i was building up to tell him about himself and the ****er ran off, he so knew it was coming and because he so didn't want to be belittled, because he is not a man and can't accept when he is wrong he ran off.
So, should i take pride in the fact that i got him in my cross hairs and he knew the bullet was coming and just leave it at that, or tomorrow should i torch him?
take into account: that at this point are relationship is pretty much done, ive spent the past year trying to make things work but he is just not on this planet.
