Default Hot Dogs

I never seem to see them anywhere around the UK apart from places by the sea, like those van things. No cafe, pub, restaurant seems to sell them. Does the UK just not like Hot Dogs? Are they just more of an American thing?

The wee shop up the road from me sells them. In a minature version rota grill - same as at the cinema but on a smaller scale .

It's murder when you pop in en-route to work and smell them on the go, I'll buy one of them these days.

I love hotdogs, with lots of mustard and tomato sauce. Love 'em.

Dunno about you: but making them at home, they just never taste quite the same.

I'm thinking of nipping upto that wee shop just now....salivating at the thought now.

Ach... I'll ruin my dinner. But I'm off tomorrow - that might just be a good shout for a lazy BH lunch

I have made a final decision. That's exactly what I am going to do tomorrow.

(ha...wait till you see this, the bloody shop will be shut or something and I'll be driving all over the place searching for a flipping hotdog!)

It's a local shop that's open all hours just about - I rarely buy anything in it apart from milk / butter / bread as it's about twice the price of everywhere else.

Tomorrow will do me fine. Besides which: I've have homemade beefburgers for dinner later on, with nice creamed mashed tatties mixed with turnip - and fried onions. I'm looking forward to that so am not ruining my appetite.

I love hot dogs and often have them. I haven't had one out for a few years, but I love the smell from hot dog stands with the fried onions. Last one I had out was around Leicester Square, I think, after a few drinks on a night out. The tramps come out late at night selling them, and I would not normally purchase one when I am sober, but don't give a flying **** when I have had a drink.

I don't like hotdogs so wouldn't buy one, especially from those Vans.
