Default If Big Brother were to get new HGs...

Like 2 or 3 weeks into the season. How do you think BB would do it. Do you think that they'd just throw them through the front door during an eviction, do you think that they would bring 2 or 3 in at a time and tell them to evict someone for their place, or whadowning you wan them to do.
What I would want them to do is build a Bedsit style room on the other side of pandora's box in the HoH and if they open it then that HoH has to keep the new HG a secret for a week. Then on eviction night after everybody has casted their votes the new HG walks into the living room through the DR and sits down like nothing happened.

I dont think it will ever happen due to the fact the USA show has a limited number of episodes and if you put in more houseguests then that is less focus on the show and more on evicting everyone.

I like your idea of the P/b, it could work I guess if they only put in 13 houseguests and two latecomers.

If they were to ever do it, I think they would just gather all the houseguests at the sofa area and then Julie would say "Houseguests, meet your new houseguests" and then 3 people will just come out of the HoH room and down the stairs (similar to how Jessica, Dustin and Dick entered at start of BB8).

Does it really have a limited number of episodes? I didn't know that. I that's true then I could see them putting in a couple of extra double evictions.

It's possible with limited amounts of eps. Let's say for the first time ever 2 or 3 people quit the show (Long shot). They're going to have to send more in or else if they cancel evictions the show is going to be very very very predictable and boring.

Personally I think we should be allowed to choose 2 or 3 hgs this year

Well since season 2 they have only ever done about 30 episodes per season, so thats limited as 11 episodes are evictions (1 usually has a double), so that leaves about 60% of episodes to fill with getting to know HG and strategic talk and comps

It could easily be done though within the first few weeks, tagged on to an eviction show. It needs to be done before the jury stage and it doesn't really matter whether or not the new HGs are in lockdown beforehand or not (though I suspect knowing BBUSA they would be) as it's the paranoia it would create amongst the HGs which is key.

They don't need to do anything complicated either - just send them in and let the HGs fight to get them on side. Yes, sooner or later they'd probably be cast aside but if they go in and join the underdogs at a crucial point in the series it could turn the whole thing upside down. Indeed I think going in as a newbie your strategy has to be to join the smaller alliance as you're likely to stick around longer than with the larger alliance who will cast you off at the first opportunity.

Yeah but the only problem with that is that if Allison Grodner wasn't prepared for quitters then she would have to bring in people that have already seen the show. But to be honest that wouldn't be so bad because if just one HG knows your gameplan and can't talk about it anyway then that's not much of a threat.

Have they ever had a quitter? Evil Dick and that Gay guy from 9 come to mind, but they left due to personal problems.

No one has ever quit because they cannot cope yet

you could actually bend the new guy to your will. If I ever got on the show and someone entered late like Day 14 or something instead of Me evicting the person as soon as they entered. I would see that person as an extra vote and dump them as soon as I felt like it
