It has been revealed that when Big Brother returns to our screens on June 5th, he will have one or two surprises up his sleeve. Bit On The Side panelist Jamie East revealed in an interview with OK! that there will be two big twists in the upcoming run's first week, and that part of the surprise will be related to new show Big Brother: The Auditions which will air at 8pm on Channel 5 before the Live Launch of the new series.

“We launch with a big twist, well two big twists in the first week, and part of that is related to the audition show,” he said.

Jamie went on: “The last part of the audition show reveals a huge twist, Big Brother has given me big powers this year.”

It is unclear what Big Brother is planning but rumours have been rife that a Wildcard Housemate will be chosen by the public to enter Britain's most infamous bungalow.

Big Brother 2012 starts on Tuesday 5th June at 9pm on Channel 5
