Default Are BB grooming their fav from the editing room.

Right from the get go I have never liked this team Like last year my little friend who works down there has given me some good info. (she is the daughter of one of my golf students) This year her info is broadly based on BB,s deliberate attempt to achieve 3 goals, its all over their offices and on the walls of porta cabins.

1. Be on the lookout for sensational storylines.
2. Be more liberal on sensitive issues like race, bullying and violence.
3. Create a smooth transition from BB13 to Cbb by working the storylines.

This year she says the storylines regarding romances are low priority but violence and nastiness is top of the morning meetings. They deliberately are using strong charachters to fly that flag for them. Adam showed he is capable of carrying their aims and they dont care about him so hey ho, lets let the black kid do the dirty for us by hanging him out to dry and watch him handle the creepies for us.

Jamie East brought in Becky and they are helping her to do a Josie but she is too thick to play that game, Sara is this years Rachel Rice and Deana is Aaron to a tee. They are all copying past HM,s and its so obvious.

Do you think BB are going too far.

I don't understand yur assertion that Adam is doing any "dirty work". what dirty work do you mean? I havn't seen him do anything particularly aggressive or nasty.

Following your logic that BB is using certain housemates to portray as nasty, i'd say Arron and Connor and Caroline fit that bill, but not Adam.

They know Adam is a strong kid and the backlash from his answers being shown will earn him a bad boy tag. He is strong enough to carry his defence off and that in itself will get them a few storylines to work on. If it was Deana, she would revert to her bed and cry, so Adam was the perfect choice to get a good fight going as he is cool and dosent loose his temprament easy.

Calling me a liar on open forum is not what I expected from you. If you check out my user name from last year you will see I let a few gems slip, pre show, and last year my predictions and info snips were bang on. I have no reason to lie and gain nothing from it.

Josy, the difference is when I post what I think, I get infracted, even if it has been said before by a long term poster and older member. It goads and upsets me when people on here cant take stuff on face value.

If you got infracted then you must have posted something that was against the forum rules, but this isn't the place to be discussing it we have a private appeals section for that so keep on topic please.

I'm not defending sampvt specifically, but...

You mean the private appeals section where if you use it you just get more infractions for "not letting it go" or "arguing with staff"? The private appeals section is a joke, no offense.

I don't think its 'rollocks'
I agree to a degree, its not enought to have a fauxmance now thats soooo BB6,7,8,9,....ad infinitum.
They tried the 'evil' thing where the house was supposedly designed to create animosity...it failed.

This lot as I have said may have been selected as they are reminiscent of past faves
arron= sam pepper
caroline = bea...and so on
They are also the most vindictive, manipulative sociopathic bunch ever...It is clear they wanted rucktions this year...Not of a racial kind though, but severe conflict and drama to keep viewers switched on.
I also agree they try to edit a winner, however they cannot control what comes out ther mouths so their 'fave' conor had to be dropped like a hot potato due to his unfortunate comments.
I actually think BB have played a blinder here...Adam may have a lot of what some may think of a 'negative' traits, he has been to prison.
and 'stereotypical' traits, he is afro american.
However I think in the house adam is the most rational, as shown in his responses to the questions he faced. He was fair and honest and he offered well thought out answers.

I totally agree. i definitely feel like last years editing was horrible and it was basically just "The Aaron Show" and we barely got to see any other housemates. If it didn't revolve around Aaron then basically it wasn't shown last year.

This year i really feel like i've gotten to see a lot of all the housemates. The only ones we don't see much of are sara and Luke A., but still even they have gotten a decent amount of screen time compared to a lot of the housemates on BB12.

I was told by someone higher up the food chain that the Editors do exactly that, have favourites and play them.

There are over 40 working in the offices and my mates daughter is one of them. By the way, she knows the results of whos going up to 15 mins before the public do. So all the BS about them only finding out about it 1 or 2 mins before is rubbish. They have to get the music and all the questions in place, this isnt done in2 mins.

She sends me the odd text telling me stuff and I can tell you now the producers are trying to get Conor out this week because a last minute push for him on the net last week by trolls and deana haters savced him. They do what they want how they want in orer to get results. This week there will be a 2 person eviction nomination which means that a vote to save is rubbed out, ergo conor goes.

She also tells me that Aaron last year cost them loads of promotions so this year they wont let a radical win again. its all about money and promoting next years show by using this years winners. Aaron and Jay fobbed them off last year and they were left with the dregs that also were not that interested. She told me there is a print out of acceptabel and unaceptable racisty comments so the staff cant be caught unawares.

News is coming through for an extra staff awareness compliment next wednesday which means only one thing, a mid week eviction, plus next week its a double eviction. Dont forget that the backroom staff need to know these things to organise transport, hotel room, storylines, security and all manner of things so it all runs smooth.

AND THE PRODUCER STILL TREATS US LIKE DUMMIES. She said the main producer (whom everyone hates down there) wont be there long if he dosent befriend the voters because the tel lines and money is over 30% down on last year.

What do you mean by that first bit in the quote? that the eviction will be vote to evict this week instead of vote to save?

I'm not surprised one bit that the moneys down this year though that will probably be mostly due to the price hike in FB voting.

If there are only 2 candidates, a vote to save is the same as a vote to evict making it equal.

I never get this argument, why would BB focus on one person to win ''grooming'' them to be the favourite? Surely it's better if they have as many people capable of winning, which equals more votes. They're just trying to make the best show possible with the footage they've got, and tailoring it too the show's target audience - the casual armchair viewer who probably also watches TOWIE, and shows like that, not your average forum user who watches/criticises the show in a completely different way

If they put Adam in expecting a Victor they obviously are poor judges of character. Whatever Adam has done he has obviously reformed. He comes across as a very well meaning individual. I would prefer him to Caroline any day. The way she went creeping to him today saying she was sorry she had upset him. She wasn't sorry she just did not want to be nominated.
Who chose these people? We would have been better off if Jamie East had chosen the whole house.

I'm still not sure what is meant by a 'two person eviction nomination'
