since moving down to the valleys Ive had the magnificent pleasure of attending some of their legendary cultural events....must admit I was a bot lost at the eisdteddfodd , but it was still great experience, they have different festivals one for kids , one for adults and another one for the international eisteddfodd which attracts legends like pavarotti or bocelli etc
the royal welsh show ive not been to before, but it is magnificent, animals everywhere, food shows everywhere, everything is home grown british produce, free food samples galore hmmmm...the atmosphere is amazing, all sorts of quirky shows from world sheep sheering (yes I said sheering not shagging lol) tractor shows, old car shows, the people are very warm and friendly and the competition is fierce, plenty of fun and fair ground activities for the kids too...really massive event in a stunning place called builth wells, temperature was in the 80's and the crowds over the 4 days are over 250,000
highly recommended
