This is one of the worst things I've ever heard (yes I regularly post tracks hours before I listen to them). Total, total gash.

I'm sure if I listen to it I'll grow to like it, but it's just... not Muse. I'm praying this is the only dubstep on the album.

It's not even like they did anything different with the genre... yes, they're using real instruments rather than laptops and soundboards, but it sounds so generic... I'd even stretch as far as saying that I'd rather listen to Skrillex, at least then I wouldn't be so surprised at how bad it is. Dubstep is too **** a genre for Muse to do anything good with it. They've done the experiment, it turned out to be ****, so go back to your old sound.

I know their whole back catalogue has a host of scientific or political references but, largely, beyond the titles you'd pretty much miss them. Since the Resistance they've become so sanctimonious and in love with their own image. Their idea of politics is grade 1 conspiracy theory nonsense, and they're using it to lazily paste over their lack of anything left in the way of good songwriting.

I'd wait and see what the rest of the album is like before writing them off. But if it's anything like this song I'd recommend them for sectioning.

Every band has one bad album, and it's looking like it will be this one for Muse, which is a massive shame. Depending on how it turns out it should hopefully be a massive wake up call for them. I haven't lost hope yet, though.

Was looking at the track listing and noticed that Unsustainable is, along with Isolated System, listed with 'The 2nd Law:' in front of it, a bit like Exogenesis on TR. This hopefully means that only those 2 songs are dubstep (like the Exogenesis songs were classical) and the rest are normal Muse.
