Lance Armstrong will not contest doping charges

By refusing to defend himself, Armstrong has essentially conceded that he won his Tour titles through doping. The American said in a statement that he is 'finished with this nonsense' and insisted he is innocent but did not want to spend any further effort clearing his name.
