Default BB 7 not so good as BB3

this year is a little better than most but will any ever beat BB3.
Will we ever get anther Jade , possible the greatest house mate of all time .

in some ways i wish that bb had ended back then . far better to go out on high rather than wait for the ratings to drop .
that is to say better for people to say its a pity that it has gone , rather than to say thank god it has gone , as i suspect will happen in the end.

Can't agree about ypur comment about Jade, but do think the series you mention was good. My fave was BB5 with Derek.

I hate Jade with a passion but I agree BB3 was one of the best. I think Derek was in BB6 but my favourite was BB5 where the winner should have been Victor

This year it has been ruined by Nikki and we don't get to see hardly anyone else and she cries so much they film her.

I agree with the topic starters sentiment. Series 3 of Big Brother was far superior to this latest series. The previous housemates were darker, and the series itself had a stronger story arc. This series's housemates are too quirky, and their apologetic catchphrases, e.g. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry", are getting on my nerves. This series also has a weaker story arc, which is less defined, and I believe that these new quirky housemates, weak story arc and the fan wankery so evident in the final episodes will lead to later series not being commissioned. The only way to boost ratings would be to introduce a celebrity into the house, for example, esteemed politician/actor/musician/model Adam Rickitt may be interested.

i suppose you will always like the BB you grow up with.

perhaps the show should be rested for a while then when it is brought back it will be a big event with loads of people watching.

Peple have short memories. I remember a time when it was predicted that BB would only run for six months at best.

Yes, but the fortunes of the show changed and its popularity was cemented with the introduction of the infamous robotic menace, Kate Lawler.

Jason and Victor annoyed me, Jason was dull and sat back while Victor did it all then Jason came second...madness.

yeah it seems like BB3 will always be remembered. jade was the true winner because she has made alot of wealth since then. cant see to many HMs matching her in the status ranks.
