I don't think he does but in any situation there will be people you get on better with than others and I think he just likes her better than some of the other house mates.

I think Mikey just conceals his inner idiot, but every so often he pops out.

What does who he hang around with have to do with him being boring? He is one of the biggest characters left in there apart from pete. Imogen IS boring...fact.
