I don't mean of the
'useless son of a biatch' variety - I mean as in, are you wasteful with things that don't have to be replaced, but replace them anyway?
Something I can't get out the habit of is having the heels on my shoes and boots redone, whether just the tips, or full heels: more when they've been expensive purchase initialy and it's the only thing wrong with them.
Most folk I know don't bother - fair enough if something didn't cost much to start off with - that I can understand.
A friend of mine years ago, threw out a perfectly good microwave - because the lightbulb went in it, and they couldn't be bothered to source a new bulb and fit it.

Though, In fairness to them, they did ask a local shelter if they wanted it (along with an old telly) - refused due to 'elfnsafety'.
