I know a lot of people support gay rights and all but a lot of the time things are much different when this sort of thing is a little closer to home...

What would be your reaction and would you be happy with it?

I wouldn't be pleased about it at all but no one chooses to be gay. I'd probably be proud of him for having the balls to tell me.

I know gay people can adopt and all that but it's not the same as actually having children the normal way and I wouldn't classify adopted children to be grandchildren.

I know it isn't, but I'd raise them as if they were actually made from my essence, any spunk can make a baby, but it takes a Man to actually be a Dad.

Nothing to do with Gay or not now for a minute. I was adopted when i was just six months old, my parents (i have never called them my adopted parents because they are my parents in all the important ways. DNA does not make a parent) My older brother was also adopted and has recently had a baby, my mum and dad are his grandparents and have got every right to call themselves that! We also have a younger brother who is their own and they love us all as much. Always treated us the same way.

Very true. It's easy to conceive a child, the parenting doesn't happen till you raise that child.
