I just checked the odds and Mikey seems to be fairdly popular. This is something I just do not understand. Fair enough people can like Glyn or Pete, I can understand peoples' viewpoints. However, there has been a lot of talk about 'good entertainment'. Dimodim is extremely dull and the only reason I see for keeping her in from others on this forum is that she is eye candy. Hence her odds of winning are extremely low.

-Mikey has done nothing the whole show.

-He cannot string a sentence together without an expletive.

-He is incapacble of having a deep or intellectual conversation.

-His audition tape was nasty. A lot of people say this was put on, to secure a place on the show. If this is true, he is still an awful person. Who lowers thmselves to say what he did, merely to get on a TV show? What about staying true to who you really are, and getting in on those merits?

-He has not shown an ounce of compassion or caring for others.

-He is NOT good looking. His nose, hair and chin are all akin to Frankenstein. Even if he was good looking, then his odds should be like Dimodim's...

so, I ask, why the popularity? Are we so shallow as a society to like a cretin such as Mikey?

I'd love for him to win

basically because:

1. In my opinion hes gone from boring to entertaining and been on a journey.
2. I like his arguements and want to see more
3. Hes genuinly a nice person
4. His Mikey Shows are hilarious, and I loved his model show, impression of Pete etc

I don't see what people expect Mikey to do? he was boring at first yes but in my opinion hes a good housemate now, he gets involved, leads all the tasks and has as much fun as any of them in there, thinking about it i like Pete and wouldn't mind him winning but whats he done that Mikey hasn't? nothing yet people were saying Pete to win after 5 minutes of the show and lets be honest you can't know someone that well straight away.

What has Pete done Mikey hasn't?

Simple - show humility, sensitivity and care for others.

Mikey cares for others too, he was the only one lookin after glyn when he was throwin up and he looked after nikki and imogen. people like mikey because he is a genuine, normal bloke who stands up for what he believes in
