yes i have, also chopped down the side of my finger with an axe.

Yup...also snapped a nail not long ago and when trying to rip the snapped bit off it kinda ripped the nail halfway down...thats worse

My mom has acrylic nails and she was getting down the ladder to the attic and her fingernail just snapped right off. It was down about half way through her thumb.
