The options are:
Take into account the current climate & album sales atm Under 500K 500K -600K 600K - 700K 700k-800k 800k-900k 900k- 1M 1M - 1.1M 1.1M-1.2M 1.2M-1.3M 1.3M-1.4M 1.4M-1.5M 1.5M-2M 2M+ With 'I Knew You were Trouble' I think she may have lost some sales with Country fans Will this break Born This Ways first week sales , hell will it break Britney Spears Female Record back in 2000 of 1.3 million? Will it even break Eminem's solo artist record two weeks after britneys with 1.7 million? Will it even break NSyncs Record of first week sales with 2.4 million. Will it fail to break 1 mill? Make your picks (Born This Way did cheat and sell the album for like 1p on a day to beat Speak Now's sales of 1.05M) Last edited by MeMyselfAndI; 30-10-2012 at 08:17 PM. |

It sold just over 1.2M so I am the winner as I was the closest.
I'm not sure if it was over 1.2M in just the US or worldwide. |

Hits Daily Double has posted its final weekly sales data, and it confirms last week’s forecast: Taylor Swift’s “Red” delivered the biggest opening sales week of her career.
The Hits data, which usually falls within a close ballpark of the Nielsen SoundScan data used by Billboard, says that Swift moved approximately 1.210 million copies of her fourth studio album. “Speak Now,” its predecessor, was a massive success in its own right, generating roughly 1.047 million first week sales. Billboard’s data will likely reveal a slightly different total, but unless there was a freak miscalculation, two things can now be officially concluded: “Red” sold more units than “Speak Now” and helped Swift become the first female in the SoundScan era to garner more than a million opening-week sales for two albums. |

Taking into account this: The pace of million-sellers has slackened along with broader music sales, which have fallen by nearly 42% in the past 12 years. Sales have been hurt by Internet piracy and a variety of other factors.
It's probably one of the biggest album openers ever |

Considering Lil Wayne sold over a Million copies only late last year, yeah I did. Probably being too optimistic for her and underestimating that fool's fanbase.

The past twelve years, the only artists to have sold over 1M in a week are: Full List:
Taylor Swift (x2) Lady Gaga(Cheated Selling Album for 99 cents) Limp Bizkit 50 Cent Eminem Britney Spears Norah Jones Lil' Wayne Backstreet Boys 'N Sync Usher Garth Brooks. Considering Taylors done this twice now, probably puts her in the top 3 of these (I'm sure like a few of theese may have done it twice aswell, Assuming Eminem/Lil Wayne.)
