Default Film it abroad?

Just a thought I had tonight when soaking up the sun in my delightful English garden. BB is broadcast during the summer months and filmed at Elstree. How would you feel if they moved the the programme to an exotic location abroad, therfore the show could be broadcast in the winter months when more viewers stay indoors and watch television. This would boost the ratings and make BB even more popular. I get very annoyed come 9pm when I have to go indoors. They could even fly fans out to the set on eviction night.
For example: they choose the winners from viewers that have voted via phone or text. This would also increase the number of voter's.

I am implying that they keep the Big Brother House but just broadcast it from abroad in the winter months. Do not confuse BB with Love Island. These two shows are entirely different.

All I know is that I didn't like Danan the first time and I see no reason for an improvement the second! I've not watched one second of it this year.

I think maybe channel 4 cares, They are looking to increase their viewing share across the terrestrial network, currently BB has an average viewing share of 24% which is very good. However If they could increase their overall share, Channel 4 wouldn't hasitate moving BB to a different seasonal timeslot. GET IT?

I Think I said VIEWING SHARE, not ratings. BB is channel 4's highest rated show yes, but there is a possibility they could increase both ratings and share. Why the hell are you having a go at me? I want the show to do even better and continue for years to come. Believe me, I know how hard the market is these days.

BBC is pretty much unbeatable, because the older population watch it, probably. So that's as much as channel 4 can get.

As for the idea, i don't like it, i like big brother to be english, and it's not far from where i live which makes it just.. better

Clom - good for you for keeping your head while people put rude comments like "sh!t idea" or whatever. At least you're getting interesting conversations started.

Putting it abroad probably wouldn't be as feasible in my opinion, though. Getting the fans out for eviction night is the first problem, of course. In general, I think there's a feeling that comes from having it local, so you know the HMs will be out and about as soon as they're evicted, and so the "outside world" is such a "so close and yet so far" thing for the HMs.
