Hey guys.
Sorry to use you all as agony aunts but i seriously don't know what to do, and i want an impartial view. Around February, me and this guy were dating for a few months. He then randomly said to me 'Im going on a second date with this other guy, so i dont wanna date you anymore'. I was kinda hurt and a little taken back, but i soon got over it. I haven't dated anyone since him. Last week, he got back into contact with me, and said sorry for what he did and he is just in a bad place. He is seeing another guy, but he wants me to be his friend and help him 'become a better person'. He revealed that last year he had a serious relationship and his ex abused him and stuff and that made him weak, paranoid and caused him to get cold feet all the time. However last week i also met a guy and we went on a date yesterday (friday 16th nov) and it went well we had dinner and had a little kiss. Im meeting the guy i was seeing in February tonight for a coffee and to talk, i'm confused about my feelings towards him. Do i stick with this new guy and see what happens? Or do I see how things go with the old one. I dont wanna date them both at the same time. Last edited by Conzors; 17-11-2012 at 03:22 PM. |

The new guy. The old is messing you about and has too much baggage. You deserve better.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If he said he wants you to be his friend I wouldn't get your hopes up about the possibility of any feelings towards him being reciprocated... I can't tell you to block him completely, because he could turn out to be a good friend, but if you can't be around him without wanting to be together then maybe it'd be best to try and avoid him?

I would stick to the new boyfriend because if you dump the new one and go to the old one it be unfair to the new one

I'm sure he does need help, but from experience I think someone with deep rooted issues isn't ready for a relationship and I think he'd use you and mess you about. Not saying deliberately but still.
