Default Could it be a Nicole Scherzinger final?

Never before has this happened, although Dannii Minogue did manage to get two acts to the final with Leon and Rhydian - but could this be the year? I don't think any judge has ever managed to get all three of their acts to the final 5 before so she's done a great job there, but with Ella out of the way and Jahmene seemingly a shoe in for the final, could Nicole get James, Rylan and Jahmene to the final?

That would be quite amazing, wouldn't mind it at all.

Like Rylan has a chance of making the final

If it's no sing-offs from now on, he has the potential to, otherwise he's ****ed this weekend.

Simon achieved this in series 3 with Leona and Ray, albeit that was a two-act final as opposed to three.

It's not entirely impossible but I think I'd prefer it not to happen. I prefer two acts from different categories as the final two, makes it more exciting.

If theres a singoff this week he could possibly be ok if hes against chris or union J. Tulisa would keep him over either I think so it would be down to the public vote...

If they do one in the semi final (which i think they might if chris isnt gone) then hes gone though I think

Nah Tulisa would 'do the right thing' if it was Union J vs Rylan... I don't know we'll have to see what happens... I'm happy enough with Rylan leaving the show now. He's gone far enough, if he goes this weekend then oh well.

See I've had a think about this and I'm struggling to see it happening. I think they'll be one this week, but the only reason they could just about get away with one in 2010 was because at the semi-final point we still had 5 acts, meaning 3 were called safe. Now that in effect gave away the top 3 (as a bottom two this week could possibly do as well), but this year we're on target for a three-act final, if there were to be a sing-off in the semi, that's just two acts called safe. Now to me that's a little ridiculous - you're basically spoiling the end result, I think even they might feel that'd be stretching things too far in terms of giving away the ending.

I don't really get how he stayed this weekend.

I just don't see him having enough support, it's not like Samantha Jade in AUS who went from 3 bottom 2 appearances to winning, she improved week on week and got a whole new fan-base, Rylan doesn't have a strong enough fan-base to now be top 3 in the public vote this weekend and then do the same again the week after.

Rylan survived this week IMO solely as a result of the weight jibe he made to Gary.

There's a few scenarios that could arise with him I think:

1) Union J VS Rylan bottom two this week. I think it'd go to deadlock. If he stays, I think the momentum of an anti-X Factor campaign slowly building could be enough to see him through the semi into the final, at the expense of James most likely.

2) Christopher VS Rylan bottom two this week. I think Rylan would stay on a majority vote, in which case the above could again arise.

3) He miraculously escapes the bottom two this week. If this is the case, he'll be fourth.

Hmmm...Nicole's 3.
I'm not a James fan, but those who like him best might be galvanized into upping their votes for him this week to keep him in.
I think Rylan might go this week. He has been entertaining but it's time to let go of the fun now it's getting serious.
Jahmene is my fav, I think he's amazing, and hopefully he will be safe. iMO he's by far the most talented, unusual and intriguing singer we've had on the X Factor since Leona.

It could be a Jahmene/Chris final going by the support Chris has - and Jahmine will wipe the floor with him. Chris has a good voice and seems like a nice enough bloke but he's bland and there's nothing about him that says X factor.
If all was as it should be, it should be a Jahmene/James final. They are the 2 most deserving for their talent.

Statistically it's not very likely, but then I thought that before this weekend too and look what happened.

I think if the bottom two this weekend is Rylan vs Christopher, it would be a majority decision to send Christopher home because it seems like they really want rid of him. The three judges (other than Barlow who, let's face it, isn't going to slate his own act) aren't fans of Christopher and it comes across in their comments. Nicole and Gary's votes are obvious, Tulisa openly dislikes Christopher and Louis enjoys Rylan's performances more than Christopher's, and I can't see them not wanting to get rid of him first chance they get. James will be on a rebound vote and Jahmene is safe, Union J are the only unpredictable element here. Hopefully they've picked up enough transfer votes from District 3 fans to tide them through this weekend too.

Then, with four acts left (Union J and Nicole's three) there would be no sing off before the final. Jahmene is safe, James is safe, Rylan is on a rebound vote and Union J go home.

I think this is pretty much the only scenario where Nicole can get all three acts to the final, but it's fairly realistic!

OR, if Rylan gets really ill this week and can't perform over the weekend, he should get an automatic bye to the final 4, leaving Union J and James/Christopher to fight in the bottom two and anyone but James leaving. Yes. This is what must happen. Somebody give Rylan glandular fever, I command you!
