Default Tulisa's new album 'The Female Boss' sells 7,000 copies in two days

Tulisa Contostavlos's debut solo album is on course to miss out on a Top 10 placing this weekend.

The star's first collection The Female Boss has shifted 7,000 copies during its first two days on sale, despite a high-profile performance on The X Factor on Sunday (December 3).

The album currently sits at number 17 on the midweek rankings, but it is expected to fall out of the Top 20 when the final placings are announced on Sunday (December 10), according to The Sun.

Meanwhile, Contostavlos's new single 'Sight of Me' has landed at number 10 on the midweek chart.

Last week analysts predicted that Contostavlos's performance on The X Factor would make or break the album.

"We're not thinking it will be number one - that's never going to happen," they said. "It won't be Top 5 in a million years. But hopefully it will make the Top 10."

A rather lack lustre performance on X Factor did her no favours then...
