Over the last week there has seemed to be loads Why is this? Is the site hotlinked somewhere or something? And they're not even popping up in the early hours like normally.

Theres an anti spam website that the forum uses and it stops a lot of spammers from signing up, when that site goes down every now and then we get infested with them.

I witness this on a number of websites... it gets more and more frequent but just report it, but usually mods catch it quick enough

Yes, that was the day! I got rid of 10 and then another ten were registering all at the same time. This happened for nearly an hour.

Spambots make much more sense than some members we should keep some of them
