Default gunhoooooooooooooo

gunHOOOOOOOO usa 22.12.12

at long last,
USA is starting to get louder,
its never to late,
respect to "celebs" who want end to gun powder.
shooting after shooting,
the USA is a war zone,
forget "Alkida",
the Americans are killing there own.
guns are controversial,
but they exist only to ever chill,
because the whole purpose,
is to kill.
start now please,
this aim must be your desire,
because every gun off the street,
is one less potential deadly fire.
make a few examples,
jail a few for procession,
because when people see,
the country's face will change expression.
you are a civilized society,
everything should be democratic,
but i also understand your "constitutional right",
the choice is "change" to prevent the "erratic".

(how many school shootings will we have to have before they ban the the "gun" ? i am not saying this will ever stop this ever happening again ? but what i am saying is weapons as deadly as this should not be on sale because it just makes the process of it happening so much easier as we see from history with this happening again and again. but what does the reader think ? should USA change its gun laws?)

Nice poetic, hog. Would love to change the rights, the Constitution, and the ways of the past, but with such an enormous amount of the country bearing weapons and the integrated laws that have been here for hundreds of years, we're looking at very small and painful steps toward the good. A random event, such as the last school shooting, doesn't justify the change all at once, but common sense does. But I'm hoping, helping, and urging toward a major change. It takes time and patience, and years.

Keep up with the verses, I like em.

What is it about this constitution?
We have old outdated laws we've changed, what's the big deal?

It seems so simplistic to say ban guns but how are they ever going to begin? There are millions of legal weapons in the us....how can they get them off the street now? It would take years.

An amnesty followed by a registration period of say 2yrs before any changes to laws?
It is difficult for us in the UK to understand the relationship some in the US have with guns.
To us they are associated only with the military or criminality, it's hard to think of our friends and neighbours owning them.

The Second Amendment gave Americans the right to bear arms. The Thirteenth Amendment abolished slavery. I don't think it's an understatement to say that the Second Amendment is more than a little behind the times.

It seems to me that feminists ought to be pro-gun. A gun will make a 5-foot girl just as physically dangerous as an Arnold Schwarzenegger. So it does bring equality between the sexes in a way that nature did not. Since most of the slaying and murder with guns seem to be committed by men, can you imagine a country where it was a law that only women could have guns but men could not? That would be the first civilization ever where women had the upper-hand.
