Default USA Representatives passes deal before markets open

[Fiscal cliff deal in danger of unravelling
A deal to reverse the effects of America's fall over the "fiscal cliff" is hanging in the balance after Republicans in the House of Representatives rebelled over the lack of spending cuts.]

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worl...ravelling.html

Yesterday the President said the Deal was made
but now before the Markets Open,
the tricky Republicans Demand cuts to be included.

Then why is CNN saying that the House has passed a Fiscal Cliff Deal?

Default Fiscal cliff: US House of Representatives passes deal

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-20886182

Quote:
The US House of Representatives has passed a Senate-backed deal to stave off a "fiscal cliff" of drastic taxation and spending measures.

The deal, passed in the House late on Tuesday by 257 votes to 167, now needs to be signed by the president.

There had been intense pressure for the vote to be passed before financial markets reopened on Wednesday.

Some House Republicans had wanted to amend the bill to add more spending cuts, but dropped this idea.

In the event, 172 Democrats and 85 Republicans voted in favour of the bill, which raises taxes for the wealthy, but delays cuts in spending for two months to allow a wider agreement.

So in America and France the wealthy are expected to contribute a fair share... What an unusual concept, can't see that happening here.

Only in France. The tax rate in the us is still under 40%, and benefits will also be cut too. Capital gains tax is still under 15%, so wall street wealth will be unaffected.

I think anyone that actually knows who I am on here would disagree with you. But your posts are normally spot on, so of course I'd be happy to accept your findings.

Did you enjoy my birthday?

And why is that, my good man?

Shouldn't you just turn the other cheek and forgive me?

Pray for me.

There's no such thing as sin. How can you call me an attention seeker when you come in here baiting and looking for an argument?

A genuinely serious question - Do you believe in the Adam and Eve story?

genuinely serious questions, 1)do you think youve made best use of your education (and supposed intelligence) by posting anti christian rhetoric on a big brother website 365 days a year? 2) of all the thouands of butchers, murderers, despots, dictators and murderers in history , do you think attacking the most beloved pacificist in history was really the best person to target? why do you hate the fact he gives inspiration love and hope to billions of the poor people you claim to care about? 3) being as you hate religion and wish to tear it down, why dont you attack all other religions and mock them equallly? would you for example wear slogans mocking the prophet mohammad on websites and perhaps in person too? if not why not? or is hypocrissy and cowardice added to your long list of sins?

Well I asked the first question, so I really would have expected a response.

1) Depends what you define as "best". I've found a path through life that seems to suit me, and I'm happy with my education.

2) Matthew 10:34 "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword."

Luke 14:26 “If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple."

I don't hate Jesus, or anyone.

3) I'm not really interested in the false hope he offers others. All I do is critique the ideas. If I believed in some crazy stuff, I'd expect people to point out the holes in my arguments.

The problem you have, is that you don't really offer anything back. You call me names and make desperate appeals, such as "Why oh why do you want to stop poor people from finding Jesus?" etc. Well, if these women were allowed control of their own reproductive systems, then we'd all be better off. It's not atheists that prevent this.

Let me state this clearly for you. Again.

Mohammed was a paedophile who had sex with a 9yr old girl.

What does that change? I've stated clearly for you on numerous times that I don't go on to atheist websites or Christian websites, so why would I go on Islamic ones?
