Default Splash! (Second series confirmed for next year)
So Tom Daley's new diving show Splash! hits our screens this Saturday (7.15pm, ITV1) - fifteen celebs will be competing against each other as they demonstrate their skills on the boards.

Three heats, with two celebs from each heat going through to the semi final:

Heat One
Jake Canuso (actor)
Helen Lederer (comedienne)
Omid Djalili (comedian)
Jade Ewen (Sugababe)
Jenni Falconer (TV presenter)

Heat Two
Caprice (model)
Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards (ski jumper)
Diarmuid Gavin (TV gardening expert)
Joey Essex (TOWIE)
Charlotte Jackson (Sky Sports presenter)

Heat Three
Anthony Ogogo (boxer and former Big Brother Celebrity Hijack housemate)
Linda Barker (TV presenter/interior designer)
Dom Joly (funnyman)
Tina Malone (Shameless actress)
Jennifer Metcalfe (Hollyoaks actress)

The stars will be scored by a panel of judges - Tom, former Olympic diver Leon Taylor, Team GB coach Andy Banks and... wait for it... Jo Brand, the comedienne :/

Person with the most public votes goes through to the semi final, next two complete in a Splash-off, judges choose one to go through, yadda yadda yadda.

Sounds like a complete flop, but I must admit I'm a bit intrigued. Anyone watching?

I wasn't going to watch but the panel sounds good and Heat 3 has the potential for some hilarity with Dom and Tina. I'll give it a go.

It sounds like a complete load of ****e. Some will take it seriously and some will rely on comedy. Cannot see it being very funny though. I think I will give this one a miss.

There's going to be a show just like this in America this year, Scratch that two shows, a one off special that has JWWOW from Jersey Shore and one that's similar to SCD on the same channel that has SCD US in the States.
