Default Something wrong with the mods here

I posted this...

'Yeah, what a pair of fartbums they are.

Errr.

Nope, that's all I've got. '

...about Mikey and Imogen.

And received a warning.

Could anyone explain how this is offensive. Five year olds use worse language that 'fartbum'.

Biased and corrupt?

It wasn't really necessary language, if you want to post like that then go to another forum, it's as simple as that.

It was a completely stupid thing to say, we aren't in school here.

But I admit, giving you a warning was a bit too far.

I'm sorry but there is nothing wrong with the Mods on this site. All have very different ways of controlling things. If you stick to the rules then you cant go wrong

You should have got a U2U messgae from the mod explaining why you got a warning.

Have you checked your U2U messages?

The other half of the story...

If a moderator wants to issue a warning he or she has to 'attach' it to a post on the forum.

As albie knows fine well he wasn't warned for that particular post on the forum.

He was warned for sending an abusive u2u to another forum member (this u2u was brought to our attention). Issuing a warning for that post was just a way of issuing a warning for the u2u.

By the way, I checked just there - Albie has already been warned seven times while using this forum.

There was no explanation of why I got the warning. And that was the only message I left on that thread (at the time).

And all my other warnings were because somebody insulted me and I insulted them back. They rarely got a warning, BUT I DID.

Was I wrong to take the law into my own hands? Considering you can't trust the mods to be impartial...I think I was right to do it.

I'm simply answering a question. Maybe my tolerance of aggro is higher than most.

But sometimes you have to make a fuss to get results. If the mods can't satisfy my questions then there's something wrong.

No. They said the explanation would be in the u2u. It wasn't.

Here it is...

A member of the forum staff has sent you a warning regarding your activity on the thread titled, Michael, Mikey and Imogen. Your have been warned 2 times. Warnings are recorded, and each individual warning expires in seven days (1 week) from the time it was applied. If forum staff continue to warn you for your action, and you gain three or more warnings, a temporary posting ban will be enforced automatically. Do not reply to this U2U.

And the only thing I can imagine was wrong with my posting was the word fartbums.

And no mod has yet told me otherwise. Hence I'm still waiting...

Even Edwin thinks it was undeserved. And he hates me!
