Default amazing spiderman 2012 V Spierman 2002

was rather surprised they decided to remake this movie almost word for word just a decade after the original? that must be one of the fastest remakes ever? dont they usually wait a lot longer? besides they still seem to be making more tobey macguire spiderman movies, so why did they decide on this remake?

as for the movies, the IMDB has the 2002 film as 7.3 out of 10 rated and the 2012 as 7.2 out of 10

I preferred the first one too, maybe the lovely miss dunst swayed the balance what do you lot think?

Probably the first one, Tobey Maguire was much better playing the Peter Parker character but Andrew Garfield was probably a bit better in the Costume when he was actually Spiderman, as for the Villains i think i preferred Lizard to Green Goblin though the story behind it was much more interesting then the Green Goblin story, Emma Stone was terrible in the remake as well she doesn't really suit playing characters like that she is better when she is playing a Strong Witty character that takes no ****

Not bothered watching it.

Don't see the point in rebooting it so soon.

They are a lot different to each other though it doesn't really feel like a reboot

2002 one. One of my favourite films of all time, that said, Amazing Spiderman is still very good.

The 2002 one was better, TASM was good, but I felt it didn't really spend enough time developing the story.

The 2002 one is very slightly better, but Andrew Garfield is a much better actor than Tobey Maguire and this franchise will be about 10x better in the long run.

Amazing Spiderman, the first one has aged badly and it's only been a decade and a bit since it was released. Looking back on those films though it's only Spiderman 2 that still holds up.
