Saw this on the guardian website the other day, Fair play to Obama for going along with this. Taking the piss out of his own mannerisms, and mocking the birthers is always a good thing.

I do like Obama, but what did he do it for? Was it for charity or something? Or for comedy?

Like he is being paid by the american people to be a serious leader, couldn't he do stuff like this after he retires?

Think it was for some award show or other. All leaders of major countries involved themselves in these things. It's easier to expect a load of fat Americans (I'm waiting for you, Alex) to be sitting down watching entertainment shows, rather than political shows.
