Big Brother 2013 will launch next month on Channel 5, and bosses have promised plenty of twists from the double live show opener.

The start date for this year’s BB was confirmed yesterday, with the fourteenth series kicking off on June 13 at 9PM.

But a second live show follows the day after, also from 9PM and hosted by presenter Emma Willis.

“Having a launch night and another live show a day later can only spell trouble,” a source teased today. “It could mean they’re going to kick some of the group out early.

“Or maybe they have lined up a surprise entrance from one of their ex-lovers or, worse, their mums!”

The insider added to the Daily Star: “There might even be a second house unveiled. With a theme like Secrets And Lies, there is definitely something shocking planned.”

Meanwhile, this year’s BBUK house is set to be “almost self-sufficient”, with the housemates growing their own fruit and veg, while making use of a mangle to dry their clothes in the garden.

“This house provides a tougher environment than ever,” a Big Brother spokesperson said today.

Big Brother starts on Thursday, June 13, at 9pm on Channel 5.

What do you think? If this 'inside source' really does know what he's on about, then I'm very excited at the thought of two houses and I'm not quite sure what to think of the ex-lovers entering. Not so happy about the early eviction twist though, hope they don't go through with it and are only teasing it as a possibility.

They'll probably have 2 houses and on the first night the housemates that applied will get put in one house and then on the next night their ex-lovers and enemies will enter the other house.

Then again, they could just be trying to create hype for the show and none of this could come true.

But then again, reading the full article it's all "The launch is over two days so it could mean this, could mean that, could mean whatever."

Telly mix are notorious for making quotes up, rehashing them and making them into a story that doesn't even exist.. (ie yesterday's davina article). I wouldn't worry too much.

There's a lot of coulds and maybes in that article for a supposed insider. I'd disregard it completely as it sounds like complete bull**** to me.

As a writer for different websites in my time, Telly Mix are known for reporting rubbish. Reason being, they make their quotes up sometimes and even make mountains out of mole hills by twisting quotes.

This said Source knows naff all if these quotes are real, I could have said all that above. They're saying what we have already speculated, so I'm not even going there.

And if they kick any housemates out on Friday I will be seriously pissed off. 1 week is to soon let alone 24 hours with no highlight show.

The housemates go through months of auditions and I personally don't find it enjoyable to see them discarded like a used sanitary towel.

Its a waste of ours and their time.

The 'source' is The Daily Star's not tellymix, though both are prolific bull****ters and said 'insider' is clearly just guessing. If your talking anonymously to the show's sister paper about something you know for a fact that they're hardly going to sue over, you don't need to use 'maybe's.

Hmm usually i would hate this kind of idea with ex-lovers and mums but since its over 2 launch shows, could be pretty good and even better if they live in separate houses for the first couple weeks
