Default why is the final next saturday?

is it simply because of the football? or another reason?

this could be dangerous for the show ratings wise as people usually watch the final as they have been caught up in the "bgt week" and they may just forget its on or not be that interested in watching that night

the viewing figures for the football wont top 4 million in my opinion

I thought it was because of the Ireland/England match in mid week, the last semi was pushed back to the Saturday, as the final is usually on a Saturday I think??? I've always thought it a bit unfair on the acts who perform on the Friday show, so this in my view is better.

Surely it gives the acts more time to prepare.

Good thing as well, could you imagine the likes of Pre-Skool and Arixsandra giving the performances of their lives and somehow making the top 3 because Attraction and Francine potentially had duff performances.

Yes but they do not see it your way.

Because its Brazil that why its Important
Time Delay is not a problem as they set up the time ahead a bit

And The Grand Final
must stand alone no conflicts
like ITV4HD sports

Three factors - firstly the football messed the schedule up a bit, secondly it gives the acts longer to prepare as those in the semi the night before the final have always been at a disadvantage (last time they took a night off for the first time) - but thirdly the BBC had announced weeks ago that the first live show of The Voice would be on June 8th so I suspect it's no coincidence, and the BBC have chickened out of the clash and moved The Voice to Friday now.
