Is there one HM you took an instant dislike to and hated all the way through, do you still hate them and avoid things they are in if a celeb?

Mine beyond a shadow of a doubt is Denise Welsh

she makes my skin crawl, I can't watch loose women due to her haha!

I hated that entire Happy House bloc in BB9. I remember punching the air and shouting "YES!" when Lisa and Sara got to split that money because you could tell BB felt bad for their fans, knowing that the two of them were going to be up for eviction and only one of them would make the final. Lisa's thunderously positive reception upon eviction just proves that... I remember absolutely despising Darnell and Mo and being frustrated when the final two were Rachel and Mikey. Sara did so well coming 3rd though... so yeah, absolutely hated that whole gang, after that series I never watched Big Brother again, I think it ruined me.

^^ I'm the opposite Jen, Dale, Stu, Luke, Bex, Lisa were my most hated group probably for the whole of big brother..Bex was basically evil, horrible housemate

That was such a divisive year. I think once the Happy House lot had gotten the upper hand and started getting the other group voted off one by one, I got more wound up. Sara was my favourite housemate that year followed by Lisa, Mario and then I really liked Rex despite him being in with the Happy House lot, but then he wasn't really a part of it in the same way as some of the others were, he was kind of on his own but loosely allied with them...

I hate being in the room when my mother has Loose Women on. Every time Denise is on the panel, she goes off on one repeating herself again and again about why she just can't stand her.

The only housemate I took an actual active dislike towards and it never changed was Charley.

Bitchiness can be entertaining but she was an abhorrent creature.

Yeah, not the same but when people actually liked Govan, when all he did was bitch and absolutely nothing else, terrible terrible housemate yet it was supposedly ''entertaining''

lisa and mario joined in with that group sometimes and they were just cuntish, to me, I didn't like Darnell too much but I liked Rex and Mo

I found Lisa strange.

She and Mario I found vomit inducing, Lisa on her own and friendship with Sara I liked, she came across as a nice woman. Then on leaving the house she seems a bit of a twat.

I still don't know what I really think of her.

I'm a little bit mad that Rachel Rice won Big Brother after talking about it briefly... of ALL of the people in that series, she was the dullest of the bunch, how the hell did she win it? I really think it was just a case of people getting sick of all the drama and just giving her their votes because she was sort of detached from it all. Boring housemate through and through.

Rachel won because for that series, and that series only the public voted for the 'nicest' housemate. She was so incredibly kind and supportive of her other housemates, and her victory was so beautiful in that it credited someone for being a good person. She was such a good role model and she was so incredibly sweet. She had the highest IQ of the BB9 housemates, she had the nicest personality, the nicest smile. She was the only female HOH. She had the whole conflict with Rex which was fascinating to watch not to mention the whole ordeal about her VT. When she needed to stand up for what was right, she did. When Dennis called her fake she confronted him. When Sylvia, Jenn and Bex were bitching about her, she confronted them. She also wholeheartedly supported both kathreya and Mikey which was so incredibly kind and genuine. Best female housemate and winner ever.

Personally I take a dislike to people who are 'nice'. I don't know how better to explain it, but if a person's main trait is 'they are nice' and there is no other way to describe them, to me that equates to 'they are boring and this is the only thing I can think of to say about them' and most of the time they end up being fawning sympathisers to deranged people who suck them into their drama because they are 'too nice' to show any emotions other than 'nice' emotions. Does that make sense? So you had Kathreya being a complete sociopath, as well as Darnell, Mo and Rex being misogynistic towards Sara, and 'nice' Rachel did nothing. She wasn't a truly nice person, she was a passive person who happened to be nice to some people, and that's the difference, for me anyway.

You come across people like her in life all the time. She has loyalty towards people that she calls friends just because she doesn't know how to get out of toxic friendships and therefore acts supportive towards people who don't really deserve support. I just think her winning was a complete slap in the face to the series, I really don't think she deserved it at all in terms of what she contributed to the series - but I'd have been angrier if Mo, Darnell or Kat had won it. I just think once that series started to turn into a one sided bloc vote I started to hate those guys and was rooting for Sara to overcome the odds and beat them all. Mikey and Rachel were the least offensive housemates left so at least Sara beat the housemates who were picking on her, but I still think it was a dumb result.

That's a good point actually, I never really looked at it that way before. Brian Dowling was my favourite HM of all time and he was "nice" but I've ever actually used that as a reason why I liked him

Maysoon doesn't count, she was there for all of about two minutes; and Stuart wasn't that dull

he was hardly the most interesting of housemates but he was alright. Rachel was just... there, squeaking in the background every other day just when you'd started to forget she was there.
