If Only we could do the same with our wasting BBC.
http://news.sky.com/story/1102377/gr...-to-save-money ![]() Greece's conservative-led government said on Tuesday it was closing the country’s state broadcaster ERT to save money. The move, which is part of budget cuts in exchange for a fresh slice of bailout funds, will result in the possible loss of up to 2,600 jobs. Simos Kedikoglou, the government spokesman and a former anchor at the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation, made the shock announcement that the 70 year old station would stop broadcasting. He accused the organisation of being "a haven of corruption and waste" which operated "scandalously". Life In The City Last edited by arista; 18-06-2013 at 02:49 PM. |
