Default last night

after watching the programme last night and watching the arguments with mikey, i so hope he goes over susie.
yeah susie maybe a bore but mikey is so arrogant and thinks he can win every argument that is put towards him, he knows that jennie got the better of him last night by a mile and he just didnt want to accept it
i know we all go on here and moan about how boring susie is and how she goes on about tea and doesnt join in but surely some people on here have to agree wi me

I suppose the quesion is what do you watch BB for? Entertainment, fighting, bitching. The whole big brother experience is about putting 12 or more housemates in a small space for three months to watch them slowly crack leading to some great tv. But it seems when people start to crack you vote them out. kills the purpose a bit. which is why next season they have to change the rules to who you want to save not evict. That way we would still have Grace, Seezer, niki, Spiral, Lisa and we would certainly not have Snoozie, Dimo, St Pete and trash!

Well said there 100% agree with what your saying.

It has got to the stage where BB is becoming a bit of a joke to be honest, people were saying at the start of the program that they want entertainment yet at any opportunity a big character is voted out, i can only speak for myself and personally i would much rather have someone like Mikey in the house over Imogen and Susie who do absoloutely nothing but unfortunately because Mikey has had arguments so he will go on Friday, that is the way BB works now.

What do you want from big brother? The tea lady drinking tea waiting for pete to be crowned the winner? Or bitching backstabbing an arguments?

Mikey has caused much more conflict then Susie ever could, KEEP HIM IN WHETHER YOU LIKE HIM OR NOT. If he goes it will be full of morons getting along for the final 2 weeks, who wants that?

If you want that, then get some archives of BB4, and stop ruining our show with your anti-entertainment votes!

All this keep Mikey in because he is entertaining is repetitive.

Just because a guy causes Arguments doesn't mean he is Mr. Entertainment.

The truth is he is a horrible nasty person, and its pretty normal to want to vote him out.

People keep on saying, do you want to watch Suzie drinking tea all the time? umm no, but do you think the highlight shows are just going to show Suzie drinking tea for a hour if she stays?

There will be 7 more housemates who provide more than enough entertainment, so why keep Mikey in, to see him engage in his patehtic arguments again when he just rambles on and talks ****.

The guy is a joke, and he's on his way on Friday

Why people want Mikey out is beyond me.He had a few arguments with a couple of people and by the looks of it was hung over so probaly wasn't feeling the best as it was.And then everyone is like get him out!Like come on people Mikey is entertaining.Susie is the msot boring housemate ever.If we keep evicting the good people the last 2 weeks of BB7 is going to be Snoozefest!

It happens round here, but don't take it personally the show does that to the people that post. The show invokes a lot of passion in people, it's that makes it interesting and keeps this place going.

If it didn't then big brother wouldn't be what it is.

You are right, but if someone is going to call the british public that, surely is shouldn't be a problem saying you hate a housemate.

I think the problem with hate is that it is such a strong emotion. That is why I never use it for the housemates. I always feel dislike is a better term to describe how I really feel.

I might hate them if I met them, but without meeting them it's hard to judge. Outside the house they could be nice people and good fun. The house is a funny place and is a shallow reflection on real life.

I know people might feel differently, I never hate the housemates, I just dislike them strongly.

I guess it's a personal thing

and its totally fair enough if people dont want to use the word hate.

But i dont see why people always have a go at people who use the word hate, if thats the way they feel, then let them say it.

Alot of people always say, "Everyone is entitled to a opinion", but then the same people always point out when someone says hate, and tells them they shouldn't use that word.

It's the strong emotion thing. You will find most of the people that say that have been on here a while.

There were a lot of hate threads last year and things really got out of hand, so much so that the site nearly closed because of the strong emotions about. A lot of the older members will remember this and because they love the place, they don't want that to happen again.

There are a lot of us they stay here after the show and keep posting. We are friends united by big bother. For example I met my life partner on here. Most of the time, outside the show, we chat and play games and catch up on news and we watch other programmes like big brother. You are more than welcome to join us, anyone is.

Back to the point, the term hate is sometimes to strong a word. It might feel like you hate a housemate, but ask yourself this how many people in real life do you really really hate. I can't think of any and I'm older than most on here.

I guess things are relative, for example I could say I hate Nadia (BB5) but the truth is I don't know her, but all the same I would like to met her even although I disliked her in the show to see what she is really like. The thing is I could find I liked her in real life and not in big brother. For me, and this is a personal thing, I think the word hate doesn't describe what I really feel.

Best think to do when you see that sort of reply you are talking about is to ignore it if you don't agree with the idea that you can't hate a housemate you have never known. People won't judge you on it.

Nobody has the right to personally judge anyone else..... hence the no attacking other members rule.

I think sometimes people use the word hate because they are too lazy to type dislike lol. I think you can hate things people do such as lie, manipulate and backstab etc and I think that is what some people are trying to say and it just comes out as I hate whoever, but if they explained their reasons also with the hate comment it would back it up and make more sense.

That is very true, there are a lot of I hate house x statements without any back up. All that does is to get people backs up and then things start to get personal.

I've never hated any Big Brother contestant. I don't see the point, it's better to concentrate on the good points. I want Susie out but that's because she's boring not because she's a bad person. Sezer was misunderstood and Grace was very insecure although I still didn't like her. I don't subscribe to this hate figure culture it's superfluous.

How was Sezar misunderstood? So 97% (or whatever it was) misunderstood him and voted him out?

But like GlitterEyes it is easy to slip into it without really knowing why. I guess that is also part of the reason some members point out why they shouldn't hate a housemate without meeting them face to face at least. It is to make the poster think if that is really what they mean.
