Seen a few people doubt his acting, I think hes doing an alright job considering hes not got a script! (theres a word for this.. but I cant recall it )

Probably just adverts/appearances on stuff like holby city, enough to make a living. or Irish tv...

Maybe nothing? Being an actor doesn't necessarily mean you've had work. In fact, Big Brother probably chose someone who hasn't been on much so he isn't recognizable.
