Susie hates Welsh. Not the Welsh, you understand. She's not a racialist. She just isn't too keen on the language.

Unfortunately for her, she's got an exam on that very subject coming up later today... and she's struggling.

"I'm bored, this task is so tedious," she moaned in the Diary Room. "It floats in one ear and out the other. I can't remember any of it and it's boring me now. I just wasn't born to speak Welsh."

Despite having two people that were born to speak Welsh in the House to give her private tuition, the 43-year-old is convinced her learning days are behind her. To make matters worse, her study buddy Richard is making great strides in his Language revision.

"He's doing marvellously well, he's learned it all. I will be a hindrance to him," lamented Susie. "Glyn has been helpful, he's a good teacher, but it didn't help."

It's not really her fault she's so rubbish, it's Welsh's fault. "The words aren't phonetic; they don't look as they sound," she complained. "I'm sorry to everyone who can speak Welsh, but I just can't do it."

Now the Kentess is worried her University nightmare has turned her into a serial moaner.

"I've done nothing but moan," she admitted. "It gets me through it. I feel better if I moan. That's probably why I'm up for eviction. Richard moans too but he calls them 'observations' or 'statements'. I just moan."

Come on Susie, you don't just moan - you drink tea too...
