Theyve played this completely wrong IMO

Making Michael the centre of attention in the first few days has ballsed up the twist completely. Noone believes he's genuine.

Hes also a very poor actor

They should have gotten a stronger actor, and allowed him to fly under the radar for a week or two playing little tricks etc, then make him the centre of a massive twist.

They could have had a massive reveal mid/late series and it would have completely pulled the wool from underneath them

Could have been amazing tv but now its obvious to at least Dan and Hazel that Michael isnt all he seems

Sallie has mentioned it a few times (although she seems to have been fooled now). A few others have made passing comments. Dan has also openly said it's set up to other housemates, so he seems pretty certain that Michael is not acting himself.

When the reveal happens, I honestly cannot see many of them being shocked at all.

BB didn't want to become complacent, I think that's the problem. They know how impatient viewers can be at times, they know that if they'd have left Michael fly under the radar for a week or so and let him settle in, people wouldn't have been complaining that it's a **** twist.

Today's twist was a bit dangerous with the whole diary room thing, if they keep playing it like that, they'll blow his cover.

True. Although they could have kept Michael under the radar and also not have revealed he was an actor to the audience. Fool the viewers along with the housemates. Make Michael act completely normal for a week or two. Then reveal to the viewers that there is an actor in there followed by the head housemate stuff.

Ah yes, it would have worked like that, but since they revealed it to the viewers - they needed to follow it up.

Michael had me fooled in his first VT, I posted on here at the time that he seemed like a normal, genuine housemate ... then they dropped he bombshell.
