There’s a Big Brother 2013 nominations twist in store for the housemates on this evening’s live show.


Yesterday morning, Big Brother gathered the housemates to inform them that the latest nominations would start in just one hour’s time.

The housemates are still unaware that Friday’s double eviction was a fake, with Gina Rio and Dexter Koh currently watching their every move from a secret safe house.

Gina and Dexter are immune from this week’s nominations, and were able to watch the nominations unfold from the luxury of their safe house, with they’ve continued to be provided booze and treats over the weekend.

With Gina and Dexter gone, this week’s nominations should be wide open, with the pair having attracted the majority of the votes in the first three weeks.

But just who will be the unlucky few that do have to face eviction?

Whoever is put up by fellow housemates, it could all change, with Big Brother teasing that Gina and Dexter will get to have an influence on the results.

It’s unclear exactly what will happen yet, but a spokesperson for Channel 5 and Big Brother commented: “There will also be some exciting news for the safe housemates regarding nominations.”

Tonight’s Big Brother, from 10PM on Channel 5, will go live to the house from 10:45PM for the nominations twist!

Isn't the safe housemates just Dexter and Gina though? so they will be told they have some influence.

I'm going with Roy. Ginxter will get to save one of the potential evictees. First the public, then the HM's, and now the safe house. Next week Wolfy's shark and the bee will be able to save.

Maybe Gina and Dexter will be able to make a nomination each (or two each as usual) just in front of everyone on the plasma? As in they've watched them all behind their backs and now they can use that knowledge to help them make their nominations as usual.

And then those two extra noms (or four if they do two each) are just added to the current total and it may or may not change the result.

By "safe housemates", do they mean Dexter & Gina or the housemates not nominated for eviction?

Imagine if it was like the first week of BB6 where the nominated housemates were actually immune and Dexter & Gina have to put up 3 people without them knowing that they weren't actually nominated.

sounds to me like they are going to twist it to suit them by using dex and gina in a special way decided by them. Ive said it before, they will do anything to save wolfy and throw hazel under a bus.

Just what have they got invested in Wolfy that makes them hell bent on keeping her in there? Does she play a major role in what they have planned for later in the series?

How about D&G get the choice between have noms continue between those who have been nominated through the normal process or inverting the noms so that those who were safe go up. This would provide us with a couple of interesting scenarios beneficial to the producers.

1) Gina has become insensed with getting Hazel out this week, but the likelyhood is she wouldn't have the noms to go up. She would be likely to invert for that reason which in turn would put the floaters up for eviction for the first time, which could lead to a switch to VTS and a chance to cull the duller characters.

2) As well as this it would allow production to save Wolfy, who seems a lock to be up and out this week.
